About

I’m Yvette Fuentes, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and parent consultant who believes that understanding behavior can change lives—and shape a better future.

Many caregivers want to do their best for their children, yet when challenging moments happen, the focus often turns to stopping the behavior rather than understanding the skill that may be missing. Not because parents don’t care, but because education, guidance, and practical tools are not always accessible.

Through years of supporting children with developmental needs—and through parenting my own child—I’ve seen how powerful it is when we shift our perspective. Behavior is learned, which means skills can be taught. When we understand how behavior works, we move away from blame and punishment and toward teaching, connection, and growth.

My mission is to help prevent harm by spreading education. When parents are supported with knowledge and practical strategies, they’re better equipped to respond with calm, clarity, and intention—especially during the early years, when support matters most.

I believe that teaching skills instead of punishing behavior doesn’t just change outcomes for individual families—it has the power to change our communities, our systems, and the future our children grow into.

You don’t have to navigate challenging moments alone. If you’re looking for supportive guidance, I’d love to connect.
